Untenable pressure led AIMIM Chief to take delegation to CM today on mosque issue

Unable to withstand the growing resentment among the Muslim community and the pressure being mounted from the “One Million Signature Campaign” against the demolition of two mosques in the State Secretariat, the AIMIM party chief has finally decided to take a delegation of Muslims religious leaders and forums to meet and to discuss the issue with the CM  KCR on 5th September.

On his official page of Facebook, the MIM Chief has announced the same today through wherein he clarified that a delegation of All India Muslim Personal Law Board & other Muslim organizations will meet the Chief Minister on Saturday afternoon to discuss the issue of Mosques that were demolished in the state Secretariat on 7th July.

The incident stokes up an exceptional outrage from the Muslim community and compelled their organizations besides the opposition parties and naysayers to start firing salvos against the government. Even the AIMIM party not been spared from the wrath of the community who assailed with a flurry of a scathing attack on their leaders’ seniority, commitment, and allegiance to the community.

Even the role of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) also came under the attack when they allegedly tried to play truant after handing over the government two weeks of ultimatum for the reconstruction of mosques.

On the other hand, the One Million Signature Campaign – stoke up by the Joint Action Committee of an amalgamation of 40 organizations under the banner of “Baazyabi-e-Secretariat Masajid” has evoked an exceptional public response with Mushtaq Malik, President of Tahreek Muslim Shaban (TMS) and Osman Mohammed Khan as its torchbearers.

Beyond all expectations, the signature campaign reached the target within three weeks as people irrespective of religion, from all walks of life and from every nook and corner of the state wholeheartedly extended their support to the cause and demanded reconstruction of holy structures in unison.

The protest campaign witnesses people voluntarily come up to forge their specimen on the banner of demands, foisting black flags on their houses and taking part in the distribution of stickers with a demand for reconstruction of mosques in the same place where they were raised to the ground.

“It is against this background the AIMIM Party got a whisper from the tightrope CM kcr to dose down the resentment of Muslims created out of the demolition of the Mosques. The MP, then called his band of coteries to stage a scripted drama during the proposed meeting with the CM scheduled to be held on 5th September,” Claim Osman Mohammed Khan, Congress leader and a torchbearer of the signature campaign.

“The proposed meeting comes not by fluke. A chief minister – who until now have turned down several requests of appointments from Ministers and MLAs of his own party and similarly the MP of a close ally too has failed on several occasion to have his audience, have allowed the Muslim leaders the opportunity for parlays now? Quip Mushtak Malik, President Tahreek Muslim Shaban (TMS).

“More so, the AIMIM Chief, who did not even try to meet the CM just for once ever since the mosques were demolished, have got the opportunity to meet him along with a delegation of Muslim organizations and the representations of AIMPLB now?” he inquired.

“Uncontrovertibly, the impact of the “One Million Signature Campaign” has made them capitulate and force CM as well as the AIMIM Chief to pay heed to our demand,” asserted Mushtak Malik.
