UP CM Yogi Adityanath Bans Meat, Liquor Sale In Mathura

In the recent update, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has imposed a complete ban on the sale of liquor and meat in Mathura. The announcement came late evening on Monday.

CM Yogi Adityanath Suggests Taking Milk Trade For Meat & Liquor Traders 

As per the latest reports, Yogi Adityanath was speaking at the Krishnotsava 2021 program in Mathura late evening on Monday. In his speech, he suggested meat and liquor traders get involved in other activities. He suggested taking up milk trading to glorify Mathura which was once known to produce huge quantities of milk.
He further said that the officers concerned have already been directed to make plans for the ban along with the engagement of the people involved in these activities. This comes after he had earlier said that the sale of meat and liquor sale would be banned in the city with religious importance.

UP CM Promises To Ensure No Lack Of Funds For Brij Bhumi 

In the speech, he further said that all the efforts will be made to develop Brij Bhumi and there will be no lack of funds for the same. He said that they are looking forward to blending modern technology with the cultural and spiritual heritage for the development of the region. He also complimented Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving a new direction to the country.
He said places of faith were neglected since long are being revived now. He also said that he has instructed the officials to prevent the spread of communicable diseases. The CM referred to the news of people falling sick in some areas of Mathura, Mainpuri, and Firozabad. He said that special teams have been deployed in all these areas.
Yogi Adityanath was accompanied by Cabinet ministers Laxmi Narain Chaudhary and Shrikant Sharma for the event.
