UP CM Yogi Adityanath Collaborates with BJP To Scale Vaccination Drive

In the latest update from Uttar Pradesh, BJP’s ruling unit will now collaborate with the Yogi Adityanath government to scale up the Covid vaccination drive across the state.

UP Vaccination Drive To Come Under “Seva Hi Sangathan” 

As per the latest reports, the vaccination drive with Yogi Adityanath and BJP’s ruling units in UP will be under the “Seva Hi Sangathan” campaign. The drive will be carried out till July 15. During the vaccination drive, the party workers will go across the state and carry out mass awareness programmes to help the people take the vaccination.

UP BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh said that the party organisation stood by the Yogi Adityanath government in sending out relief measures to the Covid-struck people.

At the same time, Govid Narain Shukla said that the party functionaries, ministers, MLAs and the MPs have also been asked to reach out at the booth level to spread the vaccination programme.

Functionaries of the Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) and BJP IT cell will also help people in getting registered for vaccination. The party will also assist in setting up the post Covid centres. The state government also decided that to set up the post-Covid centre in the government hospitals.

MPs, MLAs and UP ministers have already been asked to adopt CHCs and PHCs to accelerate the vaccination drive and strengthen the medical infrastructure.

Central Government’s New Guidelines to Boost UP Vaccination Drive 

The central government’s revised guidelines for implementation of the national Covid vaccination programme are likely to give a thrust to the vaccination drive in Uttar Pradesh. The new guidelines will be effective from June 21.

Health and family welfare minister Jai Pratap Singh said the central government had announced that vaccine doses would be allocated to states on criteria such as population, disease burden, and progress of vaccination.
