UP Government Teacher Receives Salary of Rs 1 Crore; Arrested

In a new case from the Uttar Pradesh has made headlines recently. As per the reports, an FIR has been registered in the Balrampur District against 92 teachers for submitting fake certificates.

UPSTF Bursts Fraudulent Teachers

As per the latest reports, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force detected the fraud while conducting a probe. They discovered that 92 government teachers had used fraudulent documents to get the job.

UPSTF has registered an FIR at the Kotwali Police Station against the charges of dishonesty and fraudulent usage of genuine documents.

Varun Mishra, Circle Officer said in a statement that the FIR was filed on the basis of the complaint made by the education officer Ramchandra. He also revealed that all the 92 teachers involved in the case have been working in the district since 2010.

While giving more information regarding the case, Mishra also said that the teachers managed to procure the marksheets of the candidates who had qualified the tests and were working in different districts.

Original Marksheet Holders Remain Unemployed

During the investigation, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force also found out that Anamika Shukla , a teacher was on the payroll of 25 government schools. At the same time she had fetched a salary of Rs 1 crore in 10 months. Fearing arrest, she went to the Basic Shiksha Adhikari Anjali Agarwal to hand over her resignation. But she got arrested instead.

The police said that she had reportedly paid a bribe of Rs 1 lakh to get the job.

The UPSTF found out about twnety five Anamika Shukla teachers who had procured the certificates of other candidates. While the accused were enjoying their jobs, the original holders were unemployed.

The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force was originally working towards finding out about the teachers who had received huge salary amounts while impersonating themselves as government teachers.
