Vexed with noisy TDP members, AP Speaker walks out of House

Amaravati: Annoyed with the unruly behavior of the TDP MLAs, AP Speaker Tammineni Seetaram today walked out of the House in a huff after throwing his headphones on his table.

On the second day of the ongoing special session of AP Assembly, the TDP members began to demand that the Speaker take up discussion on the issue of the State capital Amaravati. But Seetaram took up discussion on the issue of the SC Commission Bill. This made the TDP members to raise “Jai Amaravati” slogans. As the Opposition members did not relent for a long time, the Speaker expressed his displeasure at the TDP members and left the House. He said he was pained by the attitude of the Opposition party members before leaving the House.
