Hyderabad: Violent scenes have been witnessed at different places of the city during the
polling. The activists of TRS and BJP came to fists at different places with allegations of distribution of money. Tense movements have Brennan witnessed at polling station number 58 of KPHB colony and NGT Nagar polling station of Banjara Hills.
The activists of the TRS and the BJP entered into an argument with each other at the NGR
Nagar polling stations. The TRS activists staged a protest program by stating that the BJP activists wore face masks made of party color. While the BJP activists alleged that the TRS activists wore pink artist bands. As the situation appeared to go out of control, the local police entered the scene and dispersed the activists from the two parties.
On the other hand, the BJP activists have attacked the vehicle of state minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar in Kukatpally alleging that the minister was distributing money in his vehicle. The activists also attacked a TRS activist and injured him seriously. Meanwhile, the Congress party has raised objections to the usage of pink masks by the TRS party during the polling process.
TPCC election committee convenor S. Niranjan lodged a complaint with the state election
commissioner on the issue and urged him to take action. The Call Center set up by the state election commission have been inundated by scores of complaints some workers from different industries of the city called up the center and lodged a complaint that the managements of their companies were not
allowing them to cast their votes.
