A nightclub called Xora in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills has become embroiled in a viral video controversy over the presentation of exotic animals at its events. The video rapidly went viral on social media, forcing police and forest officials to initiate an investigation.
Xora, a well-known nightclub on Road 36, had displayed exotic animals at its events, causing public outrage and criticism. The video of the animals inside the club drew a lot of attention. Although no formal complaint has been filed, the Inspector of Police in Jubilee Hills acknowledged that a joint investigation with forest officials is currently ongoing.
In response to the charges, Xora has denied any wrongdoing and stressed that all of the animals featured in their programmes were obtained legally, with all relevant licences and permits. The organisation emphasised its devotion to the animals’ health and safety, assuring attendees that no damage was done throughout the festivities.
