Vistara Airlines Assists India’s Travel Bubble Agreement With Japan; Flights To Start in June 2021

Vistara airlines recently made a special announcement on Monday. They would be starting non-stop flights from Delhi to Tokyo and vice versa from June 16, 2021.

Vistara To Assist India’s Travel Bubble Agreement with Japan

As per the latest reports, Vistara Airlines has decided to fly once a week from June 16, 2021, under the air bubble agreement between Japan and India. The airline is reported to be using their newly acquired Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with a three-class cabin configuration to serve the route.

This has made Vistara the only Indian carrier that would give their passengers to fly Premium Economy along with Business and Economy cabins. The airlines has already trained their cabin crew in the Japanese language to assist the passengers better with warm Indian hospitality.

The Chief Executive Officer at Vistara, Leslie Thng said that the far east has been an extremely important area for their global expansion and ever since its beginning, it has offered tremendous growth potential. He said that they are delighted to add Japan to their international network especially under the travel bubble. They look forward to providing the best Indian hospitality and maintaining the highest standards fo safety and hygiene for their customers, at the same time.
The booking for the flights has begun and is available on all channels. It includes Vistara’s website, mobile app, and via travel agents. Introductory, all-inclusive, round-trip fares between Delhi and Tokyo ranges from Rs 45,000 (economy) to about Rs 1,50,000 (business). The premium economy return ticket is priced at around Rs 74,000.

Sri Lanka Delays Travel Bubble Agreement with India

Amidst the rising cases of Covid 19 in India, Sri Lanka recently decided to delay the travel bubble proposal with India. They clarified in a statement that the travel bubble is simply being postponed and not being cancelled. And it will be launched once things start to get better in India.
