Hyderabad: All arrangements have been made for the prestigious turned “Pragathi Nivedan” Meeting will be conducted on a grand scale at Kongarakalan which is draped in “Pink” on the city outskirts on Sept 2, Sunday. Amid expectations of mobisiling 25 lakhs of people from districts ministers, MLAs, MLCs, MPs concerned have already pressed in the rank and file from their constituencies for the mega meeting in RTC buses, private vehicles, tractors and vans.
IT Minister KT Rama Rao who visited the program site denied the charges of misuse of official machinery. He said that people have to wait and see what is going to happen and disclose. Interacting with press persons KTR said that the meeting will tell what it has done in four and half years and will inform to people that what the TRS will further if given power again. He criticised the opposition for conspiring against the progress. The congress leaders are afraid of the meet and resorting to criticise he said.
Let us see what decisions will be announced by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao followed by a cabinet meeting he said. The minister said that the Opposition is fearing the early polls and the ruling party is ready for elections anytime he said. He slammed the opposition leaders for their rhetoric against the meeting that official machinery was being misused. There is no misuse of the official machinery and the party spending funds for the purpose he averred.
The meeting will be held from 2 pm to 8 pm. The arrangements include 50 big LED screens, 24 galleries, 150 doctors, 30 ambulances, scores of volunteers, drinking water, electricity, toilets, parking, 20,000 police personnel are for security, parking and other facilities. (NSS)
