Watch: KCR hits out at BJP; says BJP is communalizing nation with ‘The Kashmir Files’

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao lashed out at the BJP, alleging it of communalizing the atmosphere in the name of the film ‘The Kashmir Files.’

Speaking at a press conference following the party’s extended committee meeting here, the Chief Minister confronted the BJP and claimed that in the name of the film, venomous attempts were made to divide the public.

“The BJP has demonstrated their capability. For the last eight years, there has been no new project in the country. Existing public units are being sold. They are either demonetised or monetised. They are now advocating for monetisation through the sale of Panchayat Raj assets. In the name of Kashmir Files, they are spreading hate on social media. A progressive government should develop industrial and economic files. Even Kashmiri pundits claim that nothing is going on in their life. Making differences is not a good thing. The BJP-ruled states are declaring holidays and encouraging people to watch the film, which will pollute the atmosphere,” the Chief Minister stated.

He also claimed that during elections, the BJP uses problems such as “Kashmir files, Pulwama, Gulwama” to separate people in the name of religion. He claimed that the Centre had broken every promise made in the previous eight years.

He urged that the Centre fill all of the 15 lakh vacancies because the promise of giving 2 crore employment per year had not been met. The Chief Minister claimed that the Centre has failed badly in its efforts to combat corona.

Hundreds of thousands of people were forced to walk home through the most traumatic circumstances. They were not compensated for their tickets, and the State government was asked to pay for them.

He also questioned the Centre about its failure to assist students stranded in Ukraine. “They relocated the embassy one month before the incident, leaving the students in the lurch. We said we will cover the costs of medical students, and the West Bengal government agreed, but there was no answer from the Centre,” said the Chief Minister. In addition, Chandrashekar Rao stated that a large bank scam was taking place in the country

He said that in this government, banks have written off Rs 11 lakh crore. They don’t provide Rs 15,000 crore to farmers, but they do forgive their friends’ loans. They are attempting to incite communal feelings, which will impede the country’s progress. As a result, this government should go.

He further said that Telangana had to incur a Rs 3 lakh crore loss as a result of the country’s poor progress. Coming up against the BJP, according to the Chief Minister, would be a very good alternative.
