We will distribute new ration cards to people very soon: Minister KTR

State Industries Minister KTR today said that they would soon distribute new ration cards to the people of the state. He made the remarks while addressing a gathering during his Warangal district visit.

 

 Speaking on the occasion he said that he thanked the people of the city for turning up in large numbers. He said that the blessings of the people of Warangal should be with CM KCR. He said that the CM had sanctioned Rs.300 crore for the development of the Warangal city in one year .

He said that they had spent Rs.1580 crore for the provision of drinking water to the residents of the town and added that they had inaugurated a Mission Bhageeratha tank at Rampur. KTR said that they were also providing a tap connection for just one rupee. He told the people that it was their responsibility to transform Warangal into a wonderful city and added that the Chief Minister of the state had put a special focus on the issue. He made it clear that CM KCR was their leader and urged the people to vote for the TRS in the upcoming municipal corporation elections.

He said that the income of the state had come down due to Covid 19 virus and added that the state government had not stopped funds for its welfare programs despite the drop in their income levels. He said that the poor people of the state were smiling due to the implementation of the Asara pension scheme and that they had increased the pension amount from Rs.75 per month during the TDP regime to Rs. 2016 per month in their rule. He said that they were giving the pensions to 40 lakh people of the state.

Targeting rival BJP, KTR alleged that the BJP had not done anything for the development of the city. He asked the BJP leaders as to what happened to the promise of PM Narendra Modi to credit Rs.15 lakh into the accounts of all people of the country. He said that the BJP had not given a railway coach factory to the district. He said that the price of domestic gas cylinders had gone up to Rs.1000 from Rs.440 per cylinder in PM Modi’s rule.
KTR inaugurated an integrated market built at a cost of Rs.24 crore.

He also inaugurated a model vegetable market built at a cost of Rs. 6.24 crore during his visit. He also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a shadi khana at LB Nagar and had house at mandi bazar. KTR also inaugurated a ROB built at a cost of Rs.60 crore and and a road under bridge built at a cost of Rs. 7.8 crore
