Hyderabad: BJP state president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar today said that they would very soon send the Chief Minister of the state KCR to his farmhouse permanently. He said that the Chalo Assembly program held by the party demanding the state government to hold the upcoming Telangana Liberation Day celebrations on September 17 in an official manner had become a success in the state.
Sanjay condemned the arrest of the party workers who were coming to the city to take part in the program. Bandi Sanjay Kumar claimed that while their party stood by the people of the state, CM KCR stood by the side of the heirs of Nizam rulers. The MP made these remarks while addressing media persons after his arrest at Banjara Hills.
Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that the police had arrested their party leaders and the workers by using force. He termed the arrests as an act of cowardice of the CM. He said that the KCR government couldn’t tolerate the power of the workers of their party.
On the other hand, the state committee of the party strongly condemned the arrest of Bandi Sanjay. It said that the party leaders and the workers had taken part in the program despite the problems created by the police. Meanwhile, the police have arrested several BJP leaders in all districts of the state to foil the program. They kept the party MLC N.Ramachander Rao under house arrest.
