The Modern Covid 19 vaccine is an mNRA based vaccine developed by the SAGE. It is said to have an efficacy of 94.1 percent. They have further recommended the vaccine for all groups above the age of 18 years.

WHO’s EUL procedure checks the last phase II and phase III of the clinical trial along with the substantial additional data regarding the quality, safety, efficacy, and risk management plan for the Covid 19 vaccines.

In addition to the Moderna vaccine, the WHO has previously approved Pfizer/BioNTech, Serum Institute of India, Janssen vaccines, and AstraZeneca-SK Bio for EUL.
