YSRCP TS chief resigns from his post

The ruling YSRCP from Andhra Pradesh today received a jolt in the state. The state president of the party Gattu Srikanth Reddy announced that he was resigning from his post. He also sent his resignation to the party president and AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy.  Speaking to media persons, he said that he had resigned from his post following the statement.

 

Of the party leadership that it did not have any plans to expand its base in Telangana in order to protect the interests of AP. He said that he was quitting from the party with a heavy heart and added that he was not only quitting from the party’s state chief’s post but also from the primary membership of the party.

He wished that the president of the party YS Jaganmohan Reddy should reach more great positions in the future. He termed YS Jagan as a great leader, who had appointed an ordinary worker to the post of the state party chief. Reddy turned emotional while sharing his long bond with the party.

He said that he had known Jagan since the year 2007 and added that he followed in the footsteps of YS Jagan by reposing faith in his leadership. Reddy said that he would soon join a national political party and added that he would contest from his Huzurnagar assembly constituency in the next assembly elections.

Reddy however didn’t name the political party he is planning to join. Commenting on YS Sharmila’s political Party, he said that he was welcoming the party of YS Sharmila and added that he was receiving invitations from her. He made it clear that he did not have any differences with Sharmila.
