₹1000 crore more funds for Covid 19 virus prevention; YS JAGAN

Amaravati: The Chief Minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy today announced that his government would spend another ₹1000 crore for the prevention of coronavirus.

He said that his government would also spend money on the recruitment of doctors and paramedical staff and the improvement of infrastructure in all the hospitals of the state.

The CM made these announcements while holding a review meeting on the status of the virus in the state. Speaking on the occasion he said that they would establish another 54 hospitals across the state for the treatment of the COVID 19 affected patients.

He said that the state now has a total of 154 hospitals with critical care facilities. He added that five more government hospitals were being equipped with the critical care infrastructure and said that three of the five hospitals had already come into use.  The CM said that the state now has 2380 critical care beds.
