15- minutes of walk can prevent many health problems

Hyderabad: A 15- minutes walk after every meal will keep a person in good health, according to a study conducted by a voluntary organization ‘Randy Europe ‘recently revealed that Walking will help particularly employees who sit in their office for long hours.

The survey was conducted on the number of employees in 12 countries. Walking for at least 150 minutes a week will prevent health problems and the death of employees.

Walking will not only help in the prevention of diseases but also increases employee’s work efficiency. Walking regularly will keep away health problems like BP, Sugar, and heart diseases.

The findings of the survey were published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine. Negligence or laziness is making walking a regular habit will mean inviting health problems, the study said. It also revealed that 30 percent of people were not doing any physical exercise and this was the reason for diseases of any type, and people spending huge amounts on medicines. 15 minutes of walking every day will help to save One lakh crores Dollars a year, the study revealed.

It said that about 50 lacks of people are dying every year due to diseases caused by lack of physical exercises and walking.
