2023 Telangana Hajj Journey

The 2023 Hajj journey for all Telangana Haj Committee pilgrims was concluded successfully, with everyone safely returning home. The committee’s Hajj voyage, which began at the Hyderabad embarkation point, was completed by 5583 pilgrims. In addition to Telangana, 867 pilgrims from Karnataka, 528 from Maharashtra, 49 from Andhra Pradesh, three from Bihar, seven from Chhattisgarh, two from Jharkhand, and one from Tamil Nadu flew to Jeddah on Vistara Airlines’ 47 special flights.

The pilgrims stayed in Madinah for eight days after performing Hajj before beginning their return journey on July 15. The final group of pilgrims landed in Hyderabad from Madinah, and 20 Hyderabadi pilgrims who had traveled from Bangalore also returned home, bringing the Telangana Haj Committee’s Hajj camp to a close.

Unfortunately, five Telangana pilgrims died in Saudi Arabia during the trek, and their bodies were buried there.

The Telangana Haj Committee’s Hajj camp is well-known for offering outstanding facilities and services to pilgrims, and it is widely regarded as the best Hajj camp in the country. The full Hajj process for Telangana pilgrims took conducted between June 7 and June 22. The Hajj Committee of India in Makkah and Madinah, as well as the Government of Saudi Arabia, performed critical responsibilities in ensuring proper planning and a smooth Hajj journey for pilgrims.
