Hyderabad: The Customs authorities today seized over three kg gold (3.329) from a passenger, who arrived from Dubai at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad (RGIA) here today.
The passenger landed at the RGIA from Dubai in an IndiGo flight and when the Customs sleuths checked the person, they found the gold. The passenger was smuggling the yellow metal valued over Rs 1.09 crore hidden in undergarments after converting the metal into paste form.
