Hyderabad: The State government today conducted successfully the dry run of third motor pump at Nandi Medaram village. The officials concerned have started the third pump to lift waters as part of prestigious Kaleshwaram project. Chief Minister’s OSD Sridhar Deshpande, Irrigation and Engineering officials conducted the wet run successfully at the project site.
Earlier, they have already conducted successfully the two dry runs. Also they are scheduled to conduct another dry run of fourth pump, the officials said. Thus, the Kaleshwaram project is significant and will cater to the irrigation and drinking water needs of the region. Lift Irrigation advisor Penta Reddy, ENC Venkateshwarlu and others were present.
