Hyderabad:As part of having one village secretary for each of the 12,751 Gram Panchayats in the state, the Government has taken up recruitment of 9355 Village secretaries. This is the first of its kind recruitment process after creation of New Zonal system.
The recruitment process has also been completed and the CM has signed on the file pertaining to issuing instructions to the district collectors to issue appointment orders to the newly recruited village secretaries. With the appointment of new village secretaries, the CM said that every village will have village level officers who will be made responsible for development of the village greenery and sanitation programs.
