Hyderabad : Telugu cinema actress Revati Choudhary today joined TDP in the presence of A P chief minister and party president Chandrababu Naidu.
She went to NTR trust bhavan where Chandrababu Naidu was holding a meeting with his party leaders in connection with elections in Telangana state. She was welcomed by Chandrababu Naidu by putting a party shawl. Telangana party president L Ramana and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
Revathi who hails from Vijayawada played role in the to be released film “Kakatiyudu”. She also acted in some other Telugu films earlier. She reportedly told party leadership that if an opportunity is given, she is ready to contest one of the Assembly seats in Hyderabad city.(NSS)
