Hyderabad: Yesteryears Telugu superstar G Krishna’s younger brother and YSRCP leader G. Adiseshagiri Rao has decided to quit the party and join the ruling TDP.
Adiseshagiri Rao wrote a letter to YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy conveying his decision to leave the party. Adiseshagiri Rao thought of contesting in the upcoming elections from Tenali Assembly constituency on behalf of the YSRCP. But, YS Jagan asked him to contest from Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat. This has reportedly upset Rao and prompted him to make up his mind to leave the party and join the TDP. He was planning to join the ruling party by holding a massive meeting in Krishna district after Sankranthi festival, it is learnt. (NSS)
