Hyderabad: Noted Social Activist Swamy Agnivesh today slammed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his BJP Government at the Centre for its fascist moves and continuing attacks on Dalits, youth across the country and TRS boss K Chandrasekhar Rao for miserably failing to keep the promises. Youth and students should wage a protracted struggle against casteism, communalism, heinous attacks and failure of the governments to provide education to all, he said.
Addressing a mammoth gathering of AISF second State level conference at KK Gardens in Bairamalguda here, he expressed concern at the honour killing of Pranay in Miryalaguda and pitched for providing reservations for inter-caste marriages and Rs 5 lakh financial help. Agnivesh termed Modi as adopting Hitler’s fascist moves and encouraging RSS supported attacks in the country. He also appealed to youth to fight for their rights for higher education and ensure that social equalities are prevailed.
While Modi failed to provide two crore jobs, KCR did not implement KG to PG program and resorting to anti-development policies. He sought that students should play a key role in rebuilding the nation sans social inequalities. Ministers, MLAs, MPs and Collectors and SPs must send their children to government schools and avoid private schools, he suggested.
CPI State secretary Ch Venkat Reddy appealed to youth to launch “KCR Ko Hatao and Telangana Ko Bachavo” for failing to fill two lakh jobs and in all sectors. Earlier, thousands of students held a huge rally from Gayathri Nagar to Sagar Ring Road on the occasion. (NSS)
