Hyderabad: The people in the entire Telangana State are participating in the Green Challenge Process as a part of Green Challenge.
GHMC Commissioner Dr B. Janardhan Reddy planted three saplings at the ASCI. He asked officials to involve 45,000 women help groups and beneficiaries of double bed rooms in planting of sapling during the ongoing harithaharam campaign. The Commissioner also asked three officers —– Bharathi Holikeri, Bhaskara Chary AC UCD and .Mushraf Ali Addl.Commissioner — to follow the chain System so as to plant more and more saplings during the Harithaharam program to make the city Green and pollution free and every official must take part in the Green Challenge System.
Baba Fasiuddin, Deputy Mayor, M. Gopinath, MLA, Banjara Hills along with the Corporators and public representatives, participated in the Harithaharam program taken up from Erragadda to Borabanda areas where massive tree plantations have been taken up today as a part of celebrations of the Birthday of K.T. Rama Rao, Minister for MA&UD. While planting the saplings, Baba Fasiuddin said he was contributing Rs. 51,000 towards CM Relief Fund. (NSS)
