Telangana Government today urged the Krishna board to include AP projects in Gazette issued by the Centre.
ENC Muralidhar wrote a letter to the KRMB urging them to stop the illegal drawing of water by the AP Government. He raised the objection that the AP Government was looting Telangana water by drawing more than 34 tmc. ENC said that AP can be taken 34 tmc from the Srisailam project when 880 ft is available.

He appealed that the Board takes steps to see that only 34 tmc water can be taken by the AP Government and not more. The project was designed to draw 11,150 cusecs and to draw 20,000 cusecs more from Srisailam’s right canal, he informed. This use of water is allowed from July to October months and when the water level is 880 ft and above. He urged in the letter that the board take immediate action and use only 34 tmc can by the AP Government.
