Hyderabad : TRS leadership today criticized that crores of funds were being flown from Amavarathi into Telangana as the elections were nearing. Speaking to mediapersons here today, TRS MLC Srinivas Reddy and Gattu Ramchander Rao accused the TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of pumping in bundles of currency notes to lure the voters in favour of the Opposition parties, which joined hands to fight the Assembly polls unitedly. AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi has to reply to people on the conspiracies being hatched by Chandrababu Naidu. TRS supremo and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was working for the people and implement several welfare schemes.
The Congress regime did not bother to give pensions to beedi workers and Rs 1000 pension to others and provide any financial assistance in the State, he said. However the TRS government has offered better pension to the eligible and announced to increase the same. The people will teach a lesson to the Congress-led Mahakootami, which conspired against the ruling party, he fumed. He wondered as to why the Chandrababu government was focusing on the Assembly elections.
He recalled that Chandrababu Naidu, who tried in vain to destabilize the State government, sent his emissary Revanth Reddy to lure the TRS leaders and now using another aide Vallabhaneni Anil Kumar of TD Telangana chief L Ramana to hatch conspiracy against the State of Telangana. It may be said here that about Rs 59 lakh of hawala cash was seized in the car of Anil Kumar. (NSS)
