Hyderabad: BJP national president Amit Shah will be arriving here for a day’s visit to the State very soon.
According to informed sources, Amit Shah is likely to visit Karimnagar on October 10 and address an election meeting there. This will be his second election meeting after dissolution of the State Assembly for advanced polls in Telangana State. Earlier, he addressed a public meeting in Mahbubnagar district.
Telangana BJP party has chalked out a strategy to further strengthen its hold and planning to take elections campaigning in a massive way involving block and village level workers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and some of his cabinet colleagues are likely to participate in the election campaigning in the State in support of its candidates in all the 119 Assembly seats. The State BJP will take on the ruling TRS and the proposed Mahakootami involving TDP and Congress. The party’s Central leadership was concentrating on the elections in Telangana State to win as many seats as possible and emerge as an alternative to the TRS in the State. (NSS)
