Amit Shah’s Telangana Visit: BJP Aims for 10 Seats in 2024 Lok Sabha Polls

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Telangana on December 28 to prepare for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Shah intends to devise a strategy to capture at least ten parliamentary seats for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state.

The BJP won only four seats from Telangana in the recent Lok Sabha elections in 2019.

Amit Shah will meet with key BJP leaders in Telangana during his tour, including Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, DK Aruna, Bandi Sanjay, and Dharmapuri Arvind. The discussions will center on building a solid plan for the forthcoming legislative elections.

On December 28, Shah will meet with more than 1,200 BJP members in Kongarakalan, Ranga Reddy, as part of his itinerary. This visit is an important part of the BJP’s larger goal, with Amit Shah in charge of Telangana, West Bengal, and Odisha.

These are areas where the BJP had little strength prior to 2014, but saw significant progress in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Amit Shah’s visit demonstrates the party’s determination to consolidate its position in Telangana and make major gains in the next elections.
