Another Indian student died in Ukraine

Another Indian student Chandan Jindal from Barnala Punjab died in Ukraine.

Chandan Jindal was 22 years old and was studying at Vinnytsia National Pyrogov, Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsia Ukraine.

According to the reports Jindal was admitted to Emergency Hospital in Vinnytsia after suffering an Ischemic stroke. He breathed his last earlier in the day.

Arindam Bagchi spokesperson of the Ministry of external affairs said that Jindal family members are also in Ukraine.

Jindal’s father has written to the India Government to make arrangements to bring back the body of his son.

The Centre Government is also making efforts to bring back the body of Karnataka student who earlier died in Ukraine.

Russia to make safe passage for stranded Indians

Russian Ambassador-designate Denis Alipov said that Russia is working to create a safe passage for the stranded Indian nationals in conflict zones in Ukraine.

The Indian Embassy in Ukraine has sounded urgent alerts to stranded Indian nationals to leave Kiev and Kharkiv urgently under any circumstances.

“We are working intensely on creating the corridors, securing a safe passage for the Indian nationals stuck in those areas so that they can travel and be taken safely to Russian territories,” Denis Alipov said.
