AP cabinet approves RTGS payment for Rythu Bharosa scheme

Tadepally: The state cabinet which met here today has decided to make the payment of the Rythu Bharosa scheme through RTGS mode.  The cabinet has also decided to make the payment of input subsidy through the same mode. The cabinet meeting was chaired by the chief minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy. 

The cabinet also discussed the issues like distribution of house Pattas and the construction of pucca houses. The cabinet meeting has approved the ordinance for the establishment of Andhra Pradesh Medical Education and Research Corporation.

It has also approved the AP survey and boundary Amendment Act and Andhra Pradesh tourism policy.

The cabinet meeting has also approved the implementation of a watershed development scheme in the six districts of the state. State transport and information and public relations minister Perni Nani revealed the details of the cabinet decisions to media persons during a press conference.

 Speaking on the occasion, he said that the cabinet had decided to pay the compensation to the victims of cyclone Nivar by the end of this month. He said that the cabinet had also decided to establish 16 new medical colleges in the state taking their total number to 27 and added that they had allotted 16,000 crores for the all-around Development of the medical colleges.

He also said that the cabinet had decided to pay the compensation to the farmers in respective crop seasons. He also said that they had paid the input subsidy of ₹1200 crore which was kept pending by their predecessor and former chief minister of the Nara Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP government.
