Vijayawada : APSRTC on Sunday announced that it was operating special buses from the State to different destinations by keeping in view of the ongoing Dasara vacation. The managing director of the corporation Krishna Babu said that the special buses would be operated from cities like Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru to take the people of the different districts of the state to their destinations.
In a statement, he said that the special buses would be operated by taking into consideration the demand of the passengers. He said that 110 buses from Hyderabad, 30 buses from Bengaluru and 10 buses from Chennai would be operated to different cities of the state. He also said that they are offering their services from MGBS, Dilsukhnagar bus stands in the wake of the strike by TSRTC employees. He said that 2000 additional buses had been brought into use to serve the people. (NSS)
