Asaduddin Owaisi Urges CM Revanth Reddy to Regularize Services of Contract Lecturers

Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy participated in a grand event at the Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University (VCIWU) koti, the state’s first women’s university, to mark International Women’s Day. The occasion also witnessed the launch of infrastructure development projects worth ₹500 crore to enhance the university’s campus facilities.

During his address, Asaduddin Owaisi congratulated thousands of students and women attending the event on International Women’s Day. He urged  students to focus on education and remain vigilant against divisive elements in society. Owaisi also highlighted the importance of securing the future of faculty members and appealed to the Chief Minister to take necessary steps to regularize the employment of contract lecturers working at the university.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, reaffirmed his government’s commitment to strengthening women’s education in Telangana. He emphasized that the allocated ₹500 crore budget would be utilized to develop world-class infrastructure within the university, ensuring better academic and research facilities for students and faculty members.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Surya Dhananjay expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the government’s support in elevating the status of the university. The event, held at the university’s campus in Koti, was attended by senior government officials, faculty members, and students.
