Hyderabad: Telangana Auto Drivers Unions JAC has appealed to the Auto Taxi Cabs and school vans to participate in the one-day Auto Bandh and Rally on August 7 in response to the All India Transport Bandh call.
In a pressnote here today, TADJAC leader Mohd Amanullah Khan said Drivers rally will be taken out from AITUC head office, Himayathnagar to Raj Bhavan at 11 am and a Memorandum will be presented to the Governor. The TADJAC also demanded that the prices of petroleum products should come under GST and withdrawal of the Bill altogether.
Mohd Amanullah Khan said if the Center was serious about minimizing road accidents, it should en force total prohibition throughout the country immediately. He said if the bill was implemented, the Driving Class and the transport workers’ very existence will be endangered.
