Ban on bursting of crackers on public places Hyd. City Police

Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, today prohibited bursting of fireworks/crackers on roads and at public places during Deepavali festival from 6 am on November 6 to 6 am on November 9. The City Police Commissioner said that as  per the Supreme Court order, there shall be a complete ban on bursting sound emitting firecrackers on the public roads and public places in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad between 8 pm and 10 pm. The noise level from crackers, drums and other instruments between 8 pm to 10 pm should not exceed the permissible limits as notified by the Pollution Control Board. (NSS)
