Bandi Sanjay Trolled for Fetching Amit Shah’s Footwear

Social media went wild with a video of Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay rushing to fetch footwear for union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday.

Sanjay, who is also a Member of Parliament, carries the footwear and holds it before Amit Shah as both left the Ujjaini Mahankali temple in Secunderabad on Sunday.

TRS and Congress leaders branded Sanjay a ‘slave’ of Delhi and Gujarat leaders and called for Telangana’s self-respect to be protected.

Leaders of the TRS brutally trolled Sanjay, who often talks about how the TRS leaders are being slaves to TRS president and Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao.

In a tweet, K T. Rama Rao said Telangana people are watching the ‘Gujarati slaves who carry Delhi shoes and also the leader who is fighting against the Delhi leaders.’

State minister Rama Rao, the son of Chief Minister KCR, says all sections of society are ready to reject those who insult Telangana’s self-respect and protect the state’s self-esteem.

TRS leader M. Krishank tweeted, BJP will keep our state at the feet of Amit Shah tomorrow… Beware Telangana.

Congress leaders also criticized Bandi Sanjay for his ‘slavery’. Manickam Tagore, AICC in charge for Telangana, posted the video with the comment ‘Telugu self-respect’. What is the position of the Backward class leader in the BJP, he wrote.

The official account of TPCC tweeted that Bandi kept the Telugu self-respect at the feet of a former tadi paar. Additionally, Adnaki Dayakar, a Congress spokesperson, added to the criticism, saying that the BJP has opened the door to slave politics. He went on to say that Sanjay was carrying Amit Shah’s footwear and insulted the Telangana community.

Amit Shah paid a visit to Telangana on Sunday. After praying at the Secunderabad temple, he addressed a public meeting in the Munugode Assembly constituency to officially launch the BJP’s by-election campaign.
