Kurnool: A bear, which fell into Velugodu reservoir in Kurnool district on Thursday accidentally, attacked Forest personnel while they were trying to rescue it from the waters.
According to Forest officials, on receipt of the information that a bear got stuck up in the reservoir and struggling to come out of the reservoir, a team of forest personnel rushed to the spot to rescue it. While they were trying to bring it out after trapping it in a net, the animal suddenly pounced on them and escaped while injuring forest watcher Vijay Kumar. (NSS)
