Hyderabad: TRS leadership today lashed out at the BJP leaders for being intolerant and making false comments against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. BJP Bus Yatra has turned out to be a flop as there was no public response.
Speaking to mediapersons at Telangana Bhavan here on Friday, MLC & spokesman Karne Prabhakar condemned the remarks of Lakshman against KCR. He also objected to Lakshman making derogatory comments against the TRS Government as well as the Chief Minister. There was no content in what the BJP leaders were saying against the government, he said.
The BJP Bus Yatra miserably failed to attract people and its leaders were sad over the sorry state of affairs, Prabhakar ridiculed. He also compared the BJP leaders’ bus yatra to Congress Bus Yatra, which also failed to get people’s response. Both these yatras by the Congress and the BJP are of no use and no takers at their meetings, he said. Unable to digest the zero public response, Lakshman and other leaders were speaking utter lies against the Chief Minister and the State government, Karne added.
The saffron party has no leadership and rank and file and could not fight with the ruling party, he averred. Unmindful of the people’s welfare and development, the BJP was making mischievous comments for petty political gain, he charged. He also suggested that the saffron party not provoke the sentiments of the people for their votes in the name of Ram Mandir. Lakshman’s comment in favour of Ram Temple was only to create conflicts among people for the sake of votes, he charged. (NSS)
