Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana today said the Centre had extended all possible financial assistance to help residual Andhra Pradesh develop during the last four years.
Speaking to the media here, Lakshminarayana, who arrived to confer with senior leaders of the party, alleged that the TDP was trying to mislead the people with its manipulated figures. He also accused the ruling party of spreading false information alleging that the BJP was behind the Janasena and YSRCP. Kanna reiterated that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu deceived the people of all castes and the people are not in a position to believe him now.
The State BJP chief said it was unfortunate that the TDP leaders have been using objectionable language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The party would create awareness programs and inform the people about the “deceitful” tactics of the TDP. He said his party would also organise dharnas across the States in protest against the State government’s attitude and police atrocities. He said the BJP would discuss the prevailing political situation in the State and prepare a strategy.
Party leaders Daggubati Purandeshwari, MP Haribabu, Gokaraju Gangaraju, Som Veeraaju, Satishji and others attended the meeting. (NSS)
