BJP, VHP, Bajarang Dal workers stage dharnas in support of Paripoornananda

Hyderabad: Demanding withdrawal of externment orders against Swami Paripoornananda, workers of BJP, VHP and Bajrang Dal today organized dharnas at various places in the city disrupting the vehicular traffic.

A group of workers gathered at busy Aramgarh crossroads and squatted on the road disrupting vehicular traffic, including on Bangalore highway. The protestors raised slogans against the TRS government condemning the action against Swamiji. The traffic was paralyzed for about two hours on the road.

On getting the information, police swung into action and took the agitators into custody and shifted them to Rajendranagar police station. Later, the police cleared the two km long jammed traffic on all the four sides of the chowrasta.

The BJP, VHP and Bajarang Dal workers also organized dharna at busy Ameerpet area. The agitators were shifted to Punjagutta police station by the police. The VHP workers also staged a dharna at Koti Chowrasta. Police took them into custody and sent them to Sultan Bazaar police station. Earlier, the VHP leaders said it was an affront to Hindu Samaj and demanded that the government withdraw the orders unconditionally. They said the government should apologize to the people as its action of externment of swami Parioornananda was an insult to the Hindu Samaj.(NSS)
