Karimnagar: TPCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar on Thursday took part in a Flag festival held at Choppadandi mandal headquarters. He hoisted the party flag on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Ponnam alleged that none of the promises made by the ruling TRS party was fulfilled so far. He said the promises like double bed room scheme, three acres land to Dalits were not fulfilled yet. He also asked the State government about its promise of providing Rs 3,016 allowance to the unemployed youth in the State.
Referring to the comments made by the State BJP chief Laxman against the Congress party, Ponnam ridiculed that the BJP did not get deposits in 106 out of 109 Assembly constituencies it contested in the last year’s Assembly elections in the State. He also alleged that the BJP had fielded rented candidates when they did not get candidates to contest the Assembly elections.
He also said the BJP will disappear in Telangana political scene as it did not get deposits in the Assembly elections. He said both TRS and BJP were one and the same. (NSS)
