Bommalaramaram-YadadriHyderabad: In a shocking development on Monday afternoon, the Rachakonda Police found another dead body of a teen girl in the old well on the outskirts of Hajipur village in Bommalaramaram mandal of Yadadri District. The body was identified as that of Manisha, an Intermediate student, who went missing a month ago.
The recovery of another body of a teen girl Manisha in the same well has shrouded in mystery. It may be mentioned here that three days ago body of Class X student 14-year-old Shravani was found and fished out from the old well in Hajipur. The police took 15 people into custody and interrogated in connection with Shravani murder case. It is learnt that on the information given by the accused, body of Manisha was recovered from the same well on Monday afternoon.
Police said when Manisha went to college on March 15 and did not return home, her father preferred not to file a complaint with police thinking that the girl might have eloped with some one. Police said Manisha, who also hailed from Hazipur and was studying Intermediate, went missing for over a month now. She did not return home in the evening. Her parents searched for their daughter, but refrained themselves from lodging a complaint with police thinking it would bring disrepute to the family. Police concluded that the body indeed belonged to Manisha based on a bag and the girl’s identity card found near the body.
With another murder of a teen girl coming to light in Hazipur, police are seeing a pattern in the way two murders are linked. Police say the accused in Sravani’s rape and murder case, who is currently in their custody, have prima facie accepted his role in both the murders. Meanwhile, fear gripped Hazipur village with two murders coming to light. (NSS)
