BRS Member Arrested for Violent Attack in Hyderabad

A member of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), was recently arrested in Hyderabad for a violent attack on a person. The victim in this case was reported to be Maganti Gopinath, a former personal assistant (PA) of the BRS MLA for Jubilee Hills. It’s worth noting that the police have denied any such connection between the victim and the MLA.

A video of the attack went viral on social media, drawing widespread attention to the crime. The injured guy could be seen in the video screaming for compassion as he suffered from bleeding injuries. Despite his pleadings, the accused, named as Bhaskar, began to attack him severely. This act also prompted others to participate in the attack, kicking and hitting the victim even more.

The local police took swift action, filing a suo motu complaint under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which deals with “attempt to murder.” This choice reflects the gravity of the situation. An ongoing investigation is underway to gather evidence and determine the facts surrounding this violent occurrence.

The incident occurred near Yousufguda, a neighborhood in Hyderabad. Following that, the police arrested Bhaskar and two other people who were reportedly involved.

The victim, who suffered serious injuries during the incident, was immediately taken to Gandhi Hospital, where he is presently getting medical treatment and care.

This event has aroused worries about the safety and security of individuals, particularly political allies, and is presently being investigated by authorities to ensure justice is served.
