Dasoju Sravan, a spokesperson for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), criticized Anumula Revanth Reddy, the Congress party’s Telangana head, for citing Keshav Baliram Hedgewar during his speech in Parliament.
Sravan argued that Reddy’s mention of Hedgewar was an attempt to curry favor with the Sangh Parivar and the BJP in Telangana, which could harm the Congress party’s interests in the state.
Sravan expressed his concerns on his official social media handle. He questioned why Reddy was honouring RSS Founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar on the floor of Lok Sabha, and why he was reminding people that Hedgewar was from Telangana’s Kandakurthi Village. Sravan speculated that Reddy’s activities could be motivated by a desire to impress Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, or by a secret desire to support the BJP in Telangana.

Sravan also recommended the Congress party leadership, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, to determine whether Anumula Revanth Reddy was qualified to lead the Congress party in Telangana. He demanded that the Congress party explain Reddy’s conduct and their prospective impact on the party.
