A Border Security Force (BSF) constable of 55 battalion shot dead three colleagues with his service weapon before committing suicide at India- Bangladesh border in Agartala, Maguruli outpost.
The incident took place last midnight in BOP Magrui under Irani police station of Kailashahar in north Tripura.
While the head constable died on the spot, the other soldier succumbed at district hospital while the other died in hospital in Agartala, Debnath said. The investigation is on and a detailed report is awaited, he added.
The constable who fired upon the colleagues has been identified as Sishu Pal.
