Hyderabad: Two women were grievously injured, when an over speeding car hit them at the busy LB Nagar junction on Wednesday morning. The condition of one of them was said to be critical.
The victims, identified as Venkatamma and Sattamma, were crossing the road when the car rammed them and hit the road divider. The car also hit the median and flipped twice. Alerted by the passersby, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the women to a nearby hospital. The police nabbed the car driver, who also suffered grievous injuries and sent him to the hospital.
