Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to file fresh cases on BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar for conspiracy and for destroying evidence to conceal the crime, under which the rape victim’s father was first booked under the Arms Act and later died due to brutal assault in police custody. Some senior police officers of UP will also face action in the matter as they facilitate the criminal conspiracy hatched by the MLA to bail out his brother.
Sources in the CBI said on Monday that besides getting evidences of how Kuldeep Singh Sengar used it’s clout to save his younger brother Atul Singh Sengar, now inside jail in rape victim father’s murder case, the agency has also got the evidence against the police officers. According to sources, the MLA had made several calls to Makhi police SHO Ashok Singh Bhadauriya as well as some senior officers including the then SP of Unnao to destroy the evidences against his brother and to book the rape victim’s father in fake case of assault and Arms Act.
Sources said that on basis of call details record (CDR) and statements of cops, the CBI will now book the MLA under Section 120(B) and 201 IPC for criminal conspiracy and to destroy the evidences. Besides the MLA, the CBI also extracted names of some senior officers during interrogation with the cops as well as the MLA, who is also taken on two police custody remand, which revealed that how the administrative officers, including the doctors and jail officials, all joined hand to dance to the diktats of the ruling party MLA.
