The Center on Thursday composed letters to eight states and union territories over the increase in the number of new Covid cases. The letter has been addressed to those states revealing increasing numbers of Covid and Omicron variation cases.
The letter has been kept in touch with the well-being secretaries of Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra. Association Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan guided these states to go to lengths as there has been an increase in Covid cases and a diminishing of multiplying time.
These states have been told to upgrade testing, reinforce emergency level readiness, increment speed, and inclusion of inoculation.

The states have additionally been told to accelerate the Covid vaccination inclusion alongside authorizing the Covid Appropriate Behavior.
In the meantime, India on Thursday enlisted 13,154 new Covid cases and 268 passings in a range of 24 hours. With the increase of the new passings, the complete loss of life came to 4,80,860.
