Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today said the State was facing new problems due to the hostile attitude of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre.The AP Chief Minister said the attitude of the Centre towards Andhra Pradesh was creating new problems for the State. He strongly condemned the BJP leaders calling him as principal accused and the DGP as accused No. 2 in the attack on YSRCP leader Jaganmohan Reddy.
In a meeting held with police officers, Intelligence chief AB Venkateshwar Rao said some new channels were telecasting false news which has to be prevented and stopped. Responding to this, Chandrababu Naidu said it was the responsibility of public representatives and officials to furnish facts before the people.Naidu also directed the police officers to use new technology to prevent and curb sexual harassment against the women and cyber offices. Efforts should be made to create awareness among women about their rights and Acts, Naidu suggested and asked police personnel to be alert to meet any crime in the State. (NSS)
