Hyderabad: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari today asserted that the Centre was committed for development of Telangana State.
Participating in an election meeting organized by the BJP at Uppal ring road today, Gadkari said, “If the BJP comes to power in the State, we will ensure progress in all sectors. The BJP government would evolve a new plan and strategy to prevent suicides of farmers in the State. It would be the BJP which can provide a transparent and corruption-free government in the State”, Gadkari said.

Gadkari reminded that the BJP had played a major role in creation of separate State for Telangana. People have no confidence on Prajakumtami. Earlier Chandrababu Naidu contested elections along with BJP and now he was in Prajakutami and leveling false allegations against the BJP along with Congress. He also alleged that the Prajakutmi was floated for some selfish politicians. He said the Centre contributed in the construction of Kaleshwaram project. The Centre also released Rs 50,000 crore funds for the Telangana projects. Terming Congress, TDP and TRS as private parties, Gadkari said the BJP alone was a praja party.
Former Union minister and MP Bandaru Dattatraya also attended the election meeting. (NSS)
