Minister KT Rama Rao accused the Centre government of failing to give support to set up a handloom cluster in his Siriscilla Assembly segment.
He attended a program in Siriscilla and hit out at the Centre for not cooperating with state development. We have been urging the Centre to give a handloom cluster to this town and there is no response, he retorted.
Showing the letters written to the union ministers and officials KT Rama Rao said that they would intensify protests against the Centre for our demands. At parliament and outside the TRS Government will fight and stage protests, he said.

Though we urged for 26 blocks under the national handloom development program, support for the modernization of the handloom sector. He said that efforts will be intensified to press the Centre to accept our demands, KT Rama Rao said. The state government offers all support to weavers and handloom workers in the state, he said.
